Learn More About the Educator
Born and raised in Michigan, Nicole Brown moved to Los Angeles to study cosmetology at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, where she discovered her passion for hair design. After extensive training in LA and Chicago, she worked in the Orange County and San Francisco Sassoons and worked her way up to Asst. Creative Director. Nicole has taught advanced creative cutting classes in London, San Francisco, and Los Angeles; she believes that the key to mastery of the craft is continued education and training. After leaving Sassoon, she co-owned Oso & Miggs Salon for three years, and is now the proud owner of Tailored Salon for 4 years.
The Trilogy is a 3 part course focusing on Lines, Graduation, and Layers. In these courses we will take you through the principles of hair cutting: consultation, bone structure, suitability, shape, technique, cross-checking, balance, blow drying, and refinement. The course is 12 weeks long, meets on Mondays, and is broken up into 3 parts so you can tailor it to your schedule. After taking this series you will have the confidence and knowledge to be at the very top of the craft. If you only want to focus on one of the techniques you can join just for that month (See separate listing for 1 month section of course).
